alright, so last night was the first actual snow of this winter and this year, so jason, wade and i went to blimpie to get sandwhiches and bravely battled the fierce weather...for our united hunger. and on the way back i took about five pictures, all of which i will endulge you with now...

I just finished the first season of arrested development, b/c i had to listen to Doug and Robert Gregory talk about it for about half an hour...quotes and all...so I took upon myself to watch it, and rented the two seasons...it's fucking hilarious....and from what i hear the second season is even better...anyway this was a pointless post but i figured I'd do it anyway.

i tried typing this once...but god damn myspace, i fucking hate it sometimes

i hate the internet and it's fucking blah

i get to think a lot lately, sitting around with people i kind've know and they talk about things/people i don't really know. not that i'm not having an enjoyable time, it's just that i'm paying attention, but i'm spaced out, and watching tv, but still building upon these grand thoughts that keep piling up in my head, b/c i tend to have some paranoid delusions, not to mention a big soup bowl of insecurity.
you see i have this shirt, and it's been around forever, or as long as i care to remember, and i love this shirt, it's pretty much my favorite shirt...but over the years, it seems to have gotten it's wear and tear. and i always try to patch it, sew it, bind its rips. and the thing is, i don't understand why completely, not the repair part, but why that every time i sit down to try and put it back together, the imperfections of the shirt become this elusive creature that i think i've caught, but in fact it's just slipped through my frail fingers...in other words, when i go to sew up the hole, another one develops...and i don't know why, so i become this frantic maniac trying to make it better, improve the shirt. but as it so happens, i'm not improving anything about it...i'm just trying to make it still look like a fucking shirt, b/c lord knows it's just a piece of shit that just keeps falling apart on me. and i try...i try so hard to make sure it's still there...b/c i'm so afraid of it just becoming nothing, becoming a memory...it's always been something i could count on, something to keep me warm, something to cover all the marks, cuts, scrapes, bruises, scars, embarrassments that i carry along my visible body. and i just can't let it crap out on me like that. it's just that i panic and i try to make things okay or convince myself that it'll be okay, when in fact i'm just the emotional ball of worry and fear. hopefully though, the hopelessness will just fade into something so comfortable like a sweater or a scarf in the winter. it's just that i love my shirt...it's MY shirt and i don't want to let go of it...

you never understand exactly how vulnerable you are until you really start to care about someone...and how the simplest things are really really insignificantly sharp and painful...so i guess to anyone else who knows this at my fault, i apologize greatly...
